The release of a Houston man exonerated by DNA tests of a rape for which he has spent 27 years in prison is being delayed by one day.

Houston police were responding to a disturbance call Wednesday night when they got a whiff of something suspicious. The odor led them to 300 pounds of marijuana in a southeast Houston body shop.
